Back Pocket (Fabric Postcard)

This was another postcard I made for an exchange with Art2Mail.  I wanted to make something that looked like the pocket of Wrangler jeans using my embroidery machine.

Echoes of the Past

This is a quilt that was offered as a class at The Quilt Works.  Elizabeth A. Dawson designed and instructed the class.  It was similar to a block of the month (BOM).  This class taught all techniques of quilting.

Ragedy Anne Dolls

These are the Ragedy Anne dolls I made for the girls.  One has a farm dress and the other has a lady bug dress.  Those are the themes of the girls rooms.  I will never do clothes ever again.  I am not a seamstress.  (:>

Denim Quilt

I made this quilt for Steven. It is made from all his old Wrangler jeans. I took a class at The Quilt Works instructed by Judy Botsford. I attended the last class on my due date with Dottie. I included squares with holes to add character, but now I wish I didn't.

Katie's Quilt (Crayon Quilt)

Instead of having a shower when I was pregnant with Katie, I decided to have a quilt party. All of my friends and family made a square for a block and I pieced them all together. The party took place 3 weeks after she was born, but several blocks were done before we knew the gender. It was a bug themed quilt and to this day Katie is know as "Katie Bug."

Butterfly Quilt (Stack-n-whack)

This is the butterfly quilt I made for Dottie while I was pregnant with her. I took a class at The Quilt Works instructed by Shirley Brabson.

Denim Braid (Fabric Postcard)

My mother-in-law made a vest using this technique, so I decided to try it on a postcard. On the vest, I asked her to use Harley Davidson material instead of the bandanna pattern.

Valentine Penguin (Fabric Postcard)

The theme for one of the Art2Mail postcard exchanges was the holidays. I could not settle for a penguin Christmas card, so I decided to try a Valentine Penguin card.

Dorothy (Fabric Postcard)

I made this card for my oldest daughter. Her name is Dorothy (Dottie) named after both of her great grandmothers.

Penguin Block (Fabric Postcard)

I am a penguin collector and I just had to try to make a penguin block work as a postcard. I think I was successful.

Hot Air Balloon (Fabric Postcard)

This is the first fabric postcard I ever made after attending a demo by Carol Bell which was held at The Quilt Works in Albuquerque.
