I made some fabric postcards for the 2013 graduation season...I just appliqued a cap and glued a tassel and a button to finish the top...

dove paper pieced wall hanging

I made a wall hanging for a friend who had her 20 year old son diagnosed with cancer.  She has a real connection with doves and all they stand for.  I wanted to make something to let her know I was thinking about her and praying for her and her son daily.  I decided to do a paper pieced dove and incorporated the fact that her son loves to duck hunt.  I quilted the wall hanging with more doves and crosses in the corners draped in a cancer ribbon...
